About 4 years ago, I went to an Endocrinologist who drew my blood and told me that I had 10 times the amount of mercury in my body than a person should have. Of course I was alarmed, but I did not know exactly what it meant to have this high level of metal in my body. At that time, I did not understand that as a person who was born with respiratory issues, having this toxic heavy metal in body was detrimental to my health. I asked the doctor how I got so much Mercury in my body. I asked her if it could have been from all of the tuna fish that I had eaten. She told me that the culprit could be all of the mercury dental fillings that a childhood dentist had placed in my mouth. Crazy right!!! First, I thought, “Wouldn’t you know it, the very people who were supposed to help me had made me sicker!” I was wondering why I was lethargic all of the time and felt unhealthy…..all, if not most of the time. The Endocrinologist sent me to a Mercury Free Holistic Dentist named Rauzita Rashtian and my mercury free dental journey began…..
My first encounter with Dr. Rashtian was great! She is kind, professional, provides a serene dental environment, and she provides virtually PAINLESS treatment. She is awesome! If you would like to know more about Dr. Rashtian, check out her site @ http://serenitydentalcenter.com/
I am so happy to be back at my keyboard writing again. It’s been a while since I had the courage, strength, or time to write again because I felt like I had the wind knocked out of me. At any rate, I am happy to be back. I enjoy exploring my thoughts and then figuring out a creative way to make them interesting to read. I can only hope that I am doing a good job.
A few weeks ago, I was talking to a friend who just kept saying things like:
1. I am gonna be broke for a long time.
2. I work so hard, but I can barely afford to pay my rent.
3. I want to be married, but who would marry me?
4. Most days, I don’t feel so well, but I keep going.
After hearing her spout off these terribly depressing life non-affirmations, I just decided to ask her a burning question. I said, “Do you dream?” My friend said, “No.” I thought to myself, “No? No! No. Noooooooooooo. That just cannot be right! How can you ever move from where you are to where you want to be without first dreaming it. Truthfully, in my own life, and in the lives of the successful people that I have read about or know, those people all have one thing in common……THEY DARED TO DREAM.
I mean dreaming is the one thing that cost you nothing but imagination and time. Dreaming is a great way to use your faith, because you can dream about what you want your life to look like and in so doing you can believe that dream and cause it to come to pass. As I further examined her answer to my question, I realized why the Bible said in Proverbs 29:18 that “….without a vision, the people perish.”
I think that as humans, we have to see our vision before we can realize it. Do you agree? I would love to hear from other people about this. Do you dream? Do you surround yourself with other Dreamers?
