I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America
And to the Republic for which is stands
One nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all.
As a child I remember feeling united with my teacher and classmates after speaking these words about the country that we love and live in. Many of us, would do well to travel the world, so that we can witness and appreciate the great United States of America that we call home.
If I were a parent, I would pressure my child’s school board to re-introduce the “Pledge of Allegiance” to our children. If the school board was too afraid of litigation to enact my request, then I would assemble other like-minded parents and their children. We would bring our own flag and stand outside on the curb of my child’s school every morning and began a short prayer of protection for the children of this school and then we would end with the pledge of allegiance. I am sure that we would see changes within our children, within our families, within our communities, within our state, and within our country. These kinds of community actions, remind us that we are ONE. We live in one nation and we will ALL answer to God for our apathy or for our activism.
Please leave a comment or tell us if you intend to return the pledge of allegiance to this generation and to future generations.
A husband and father.
A believer of God, a humanitarian, a philosopher, and most importantly…A DREAMER.
A husband and father.
A believer. A proponent of change.
An idealist and an advocate for those who cannot help themselves. President Barack Obama will be inaugurated this weekend for his second term in office. President Barack Obama is the first African American President to be elected in the United States of America. President Barack Obama is the manifestation of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream.
Journey With Judith and The Virgin’s Island Radio Show salutes both of these extraordinary men!
Leave a comment and tell us how you feel about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s contribution to our world and leave well wishes for our President as we must live as one nation under God, so let’s lay down our bi-partisan differences and work together even when we disagree.
Today my family, friends, and myself will be healthy and whole. We will be safe from terror or danger of any kind.
My finances will overflow and I will have enough to tithe (to a church, charity, or needy family), pay my bills, and take care of my family.
In terms of health, my body continues to get stronger and does not yield to any issues of aging or sickness.
My relationships flourish and if/when there are any disagreements, we always resolve them in love.
My life is filled with light and love.
I am a delight to all that I come in contact with and God give’s me favor in all situations.

The last weekend of 2012 I planned my friend Steven’s birthday party. I have planned parties before, but with the holiday and the pending rain that was affecting Los Angeles over the weekend, I became stressed out. My sister T was gracious enough to decorate and cook the hot food portion of the food.
The life of this virgin is always jammed packed with educating, having fun, work, entrepreneurial efforts, and now I have added party planning among other things.
I am glad to report that all of my hard work, planning, and stressing paid off. I am so glad that this party is over and I am not sure that I want to add party planning to my resume. Lol!
Despite all of the stress, twists, and turns of planning this event. I am happy to report, the party was a success!
