Today “The Virgin’s Island: Journey With Judith”would like to honor this civil rights hero, his wife (Coretta Scott King), and his family for their tireless work for human and civil liberties.
We salute you Mr. King and we are hopeful that your dream and your legacy will soar to new heights even amidst the difficult social and political climate the we are currently living within.
The Virgin’s Island: Journey With Judith would like to wish you and your family a health, prosperous, and safe 2017.
As time has rolled past 2015, take this time to reflect and live in the new moments that you will embark upon in 2016. Forgive others as well as yourself. Allow yourself to live the best and healthiest life that God already predestined for you. Wave goodbye to all anger, bitterness, hatred, malice, and strife. Please kick gossip and backbiting to the curb. Stomp out the failures of yesterday with the strength to rise up and try something that you once failed, one more time; hope that this time, you will WIN!
Come on 2016, give us the best that you have to offer, as God guides our steps!
The Virgin’s Island: Journey With Judith would like to wish you and your family a wonderful and safe day! Enjoy your family, friends, and pets. Please take time to truly rest and reflect on the blessings that you have right now.
Please use this time to relax, enjoy, and be grateful for all that you have today in this moment. We are blessed to live in a country where we live and enjoy many freedoms. The women in our country can have families, work, run businesses, etc. In our country all children are allowed to attend school regardless of gender or class.
Although our country has been experiencing many challenges, this is still the best country to live in.
Let’s remember our history and learn from it in order to fulfill the purpose and destiny for our lives, our communities, and our nation.
Happy Independence Day!
As we commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. King, we must not be shaken by the incidences of injustice that we see in our society. We must return to the ethics and forward thinking that prevailed 50 years ago. Use God, legal protests, and unity of all citizens to thrust the powers that be into accountability. The dream still lives and we will overcome hatred, prejudices, social injustice, etc. Let’s keep the dream alive!
Use today to reflect on all of your blessings. Despite how you may feel, there is always something to be grateful for and gratitude determines your altitude. Happy Thanksgiving from Journey With Judith!
